Lots of phone calls, Emails and personal visits by wanna-be-photographers over the past few years has made me decide to hold one day workshop on weekends or other timely announced days/dates.

The following workshops -

• Fashion & Model Photography
• Portrait Photography (Head and Mid shots)
• Product / Table-top Photography
• Introduction to photography for beginners and novices

- are planned for the serious hobbyists & amateurs, where as introduction to photography is for beginners and novices. The participants are expected to be having a working digital camera with manual function. In the beginners section one could be taught to get good pictures within its limitations.

There will be No Sharing of the Camera amongst the participants. It is mandatory for the participants to come with the required equipment mentioned otherwise they will not be permitted to participate in the workshop. Their fees shall stand forfeited.

The main aim is for a-hands-on experience (DIY) for the participants with sessions being interactive. There will be a model and a makeup artist in all workshop sessions of model and portrait photography.

The target for a workshop group is maximum EIGHT (8) participants.

Eligibilty:

For the advanced workshops, viz., Model & Fashion Photography, Portrait Photography and Product / Table-top Photography participants are required to have working camera preferrably a DSLR or a camera with manual functions, portable flash and backup batteries for equipment brought.

Participants should have an understanding about the functions of their camera, shutter & aperture, ISO, etc. to be able to follow the instructions during the workshop.

Learn to shoot Products as Table-tops

This one day workshop in the studio will provide instructions to the participants about how to shoot products set on a tabletop. It is intended purely to be a Hands-on-Experience / Do-it-Yourself (DIY) photographing products set on a tabletop. Importance will be laid in explaining how to get the desired textures, shape, color of the products.

Guidance to use of single light, multiple lights setup, light reflectors and cutters will be demonstrated. After the sharing of each technique participants will be expected to photograph the provided products during the session.

There will be no dedicated Q&A session, participants are encouraged to ask or seek clarifications during any part of the workshop for easy learning.

The workshop will be held if there are minimum FOUR (4) registered (paid) members, otherwise it will be postponed with an advanced notice to the next date.

• For all assignments dates are confirmed on receipt of 60% of advance of the agreed price of the project and balance payment on completion of the assignment.
• Models, Make-up artist, Stylists or any outside service providers have to be paid either at the start of the shoot or at the end of the shoot.
• All travel, transportation, boarding and lodging including food are to be fully arranged and paid for on Location / Outstation shoots for photography team involved in the project.
• Companies should include the above mentioned terms and conditions while issuing a purchase order / letter of confirmation.
